Foil blocks are used most frequently for plants growing under shield. Thanks to this we lengthen production cycle up to late autumn, winter and early spring. Single or double foil protects these objects from excessive loss of heat and bad climatic conditions outside tunnels. Plastic blocks may also be used when a wide area, low costs and simplicity of assembly are required. Our company tunnels are easily adapted for various crops. It is also possible to install any equipment, such as shading systems, cultivation systems and irrigation systems.

The construction is made of galvanized steel joined together by ‘torsion’. The main arch is made of two parts. Tunnels can be made into blocks or installed separately. Modules are set each 2 metres in tunnels 7.90 m, 9 m, 9.6 m wide and every 1.5 m in tunnels 6 and 7 m wide. Crop support in tunnels 7.9 m, 9 m, 9.6 m are made of 1 inch pipe. There is also possibility of adjusting tunnels to clients’ needs. Our constructions are highly resistant to external conditions (wind blowing, snow). Objects do not need conservation thanks to galvanized construction.

Construction is set on 30 cm diameter concrete foundation with an anchoring hook or pipes driven into the ground. This reduces the costs at the same time maintaining stability of construction. Tunnels may be installed directly onto the ground or on pipes driven into it thanks to lengthwise combining of tunnels 6 and 7 m wide at the bottom.

Fixing foil to the construction aluminium or galvanized steel slats. The construction is covered with single or double-inflated foil. Front walls may be covered with double foil or polycarbonate. Double plastic will conserve from 30 up to 40 % of energy when compared to greenhouses or blocks with single foil. The usage of double foil decreases variations in temperature inside the greenhouse and ensures suitable environment.

There are four kinds of vents which are installed in our objects: roof vents, front vents, side rolled up vents, side let down vents. In tunnels with roof vents each nave is equipped with one continuous, uninterrupted vent opening at 2.5 m from the gutter. The width of the vent is 3m. Front vents and side vents are sufficient in tunnels not longer than 30 m. If the tunnels are longer, it is usual to use roof and rolled up vents. The construction of the vents guarantees easy air exchange even when it is rainy and humid.
